Plav is located in the south-east of Montenegro. It is 180 km from Podgorica and 190 km from Golubovci airport.
Plav can be reached by highway:
Podgorica-Kolašin-Ribarevina-Berane-Plav,
it is the road that is used the most and is in the best condition.
Plav can also be reached from Podgorica via Albania and Gusinje, but mostly in the summer months, this route is very attractive for cyclists and motorcyclists. Plav is well connected by bus from Podgorica, there is also a bus connection with Kosovo (Peć) once a day via Rožaj or the Kula border crossing.
