On mountain Visitor there are several puddles, the remains of former smaller cirques, around which katuns are located. In the source part of the left stream, one of the two that form the Murinska River, under the steep sides of the Tataria mountain ridge, there is the Lake Tataria (Radojičić, 2005).
Lake Tataria, also known as Lake Bješkeća, is located at an altitude of 1,935 meters above sea level, and it got its name from the neighboring mountain Bješkeća (alb. Bjeshka e że). The locals often call it Lake Tataria, after the wider area known as Tataria. The base of the lake is rocky, which is why the locals sometimes call it the "stone lake". It is interesting that the second name of the lake, Bješkeća, is derived from the Albanian-Turkish word "keq", which in translation means bad, evil - a name that reflects the harsh nature of this region, poor in vegetation and often inaccessible for life.
The lake is oval-shaped, 60 meters long and 48 meters wide, while its greatest depth is 2.36 meters. The water in the lake is crystal clear and attractive for swimming, especially during the summer months. The lake is fed by snowmelt and rainwater, so its level varies depending on the season. The lake can be reached by a hiking trail that starts from the Mramorje katun, and the hike takes about two hours. This trail leads through the areas of Visitor mountain, providing an unforgettable experience of nature.
