🔹 DID YOU KNOW 🔹
➡️ THE LONGEST TARIH IN THE REGION
🔹 Bećiragić Tower, located in the heart of Plav, is not only an architectural masterpiece, but also the guardian of one of the most important and beautifully arranged historical records in the region.
🔹 The tower was built in 1899 by Šaćir-beg, son of Hrušid-beg Jusufagić, thus leaving an indelible mark on the history of this region.
🔹 The tarih on Bećiragić Tower is recognized as the longest and most beautifully arranged calligraphic record in the entire region.
🔹 Carved in stone, the tarih is divided into two parts, with decorations in the shape of a moon and a star, which are recognizable symbols of Islamic tradition.
🔹 This record represents much more than an ordinary inscription - it is a testimony to a time, the strength of faith and the collective identity of the people who lived in Plav.
🔹 Tarih is a reminder of the historical moment when the tower was built, but also of the difficult period that its inhabitants went through.
