🔹 Lake Plav, known for its clarity and richness of fish stock, became the site of one of the most impressive fishing feats in the history of the former Yugoslavia.
🔹 On July 25, 1985, Dževat Šarkinović, an experienced fisherman from Plav, forever recorded his name in the fishing legend when he caught a young fish that stunned everyone - it weighed an incredible 41.3 kilograms and was 145 centimeters long.
🔹 This catch not only became a local sensation, but quickly gained the status of the heaviest and largest young fish ever caught in the territory of the former Yugoslavia, making Lake Plav a synonym for extraordinary fishing.
🔹 Mladica, who was later embalmed, became a real attraction and pride of the local community.
